Key duties and responsibilities

As our Senior Data Insight Analyst, you'll:

  • Lead analysis projects to evaluate fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
  • Use tools like SQL, FastStats, and Power BI to explore and understand supporter data.
  • Extract patterns and trends from complex datasets using statistical and data mining techniques.
  • Create clear, engaging visualisations and reports to communicate insights.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into action.
  • Support data selections during busy periods to meet organisational goals.
  • Work with colleagues to enhance the data infrastructure behind our insights.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with confidence.
  • Stay up to date with sector trends and build relationships with peers in other charities.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in statistical analysis and data storytelling.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Power BI, and ideally FastStats.
  • A creative, independent mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.
  • A good understanding of fundraising, campaigning, or charity communications.
  • The ability to manage complex datasets and translate them into meaningful insights.

Bonus if you've worked with R, Python, Orbit, or Google Analytics!
