Team information

Will you join us?

This role sits within Mind's information content team. Our purpose is to empower people to make informed choices, to understand their rights, and to live with and recover from mental health problems. We do this by creating high-quality, person-centred information. We produce and maintain all the mental health information on Mind's website, and in print.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

As editorial officer you'll help us deliver information content that people need, in a way they can find and use. And you'll play a key role in keeping our publishing current, accurate and informed by lived experience.

To achieve this you'll perform tasks including:

  • Briefing and collaborating with information officers, subject experts, lawyers and freelancers
  • Collecting, analysing and summarising user feedback from people with mental health problems
  • Content design and SEO optimisation work
  • Copyediting and proofreading to a very high standard
  • Publishing in our CMS

You'll hold responsibility for delivering assigned projects, making sure to meet deadlines and quality standards. You'll have mentorship and guidance from our senior editors and editorial manager. And you'll be contributing to a service that makes a difference for millions of people each year.

This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
