This role supports Mind's Culture and Development Team which sits within the wider People and Culture department. As part of the Culture and Development team, you'll work to support the organisation and deliver initiatives to increase organisational performance, develop culture and improve staff wellbeing so that together we can achieve our strategic ambitions.  

We want to evolve our culture, enabling us to deliver our strategy, putting supporters and beneficiaries at the heart of everything we do, with the right levels of agility needed to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues across Mind to deliver projects which aim to drive positive cultural change centred on our values and implement changes to ways of working to enable our evolving culture.   

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

  • To understand how to best evolve our culture and ways of working by supporting the Organisational Development Manager and department with the development of change project plans. To input ideas for what we prioritise for the greatest impact.
  • To support the Organisational Development Manager to deliver OD and change activity across Mind. 
  • To enable others to lead their own change within Mind by creating tools and templates which support cultural and process change, holding workshops, facilitating training sessions and using coaching skills
  • To measure the outcomes of change from the projects and activities you are involved in to support the Organisational Development manager with overall reporting
  • To work collaboratively across the wider People, Equity and Culture department, participating in team and department days.
  • To support the Organisational Development Manager to develop robust measures and feedback mechanisms to track the effectiveness of the values and behaviour framework, through various mechanisms such as engagement surveys, performance reviews and cultural alignment indicators.
  • Support change management initiatives, including communication plans, to ensure smooth implementation of organisational changes. Conduct comprehensive organisational assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address these issues.
  • Develop and implement organisation-wide strategies and initiatives to improve employee engagement, performance, and overall organisational effectiveness.
