About the team

We have big goals over the next few years.

We're going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.

Together we'll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.

Team information

We're a small but mighty People & Culture Operations team, passionate about delivering a high-quality, inclusive, and people-centred service. We're here to support the employee lifecycle from hire to retire, and everything in between — all while living our values of care, respect and inclusion.

You'll be working in a supportive hybrid environment (2 days in our Stratford office), using modern systems like Cascade and eArcu, and collaborating closely with our People Business Partners and Talent Development colleagues.

This is your chance to be part of a team that's making a real difference — for the people who work here, and the mental health mission we serve.

Are you a people-first professional with a knack for systems, service and getting the details right? Want to work somewhere that puts wellbeing and people at the heart of its mission? Join us at Mind as a People & Culture Officer.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

  • Deliver first-line people advice across policies, processes, and employee queries via Zendesk, email and in-person.

  • Lead the administrative processes related to payroll, recruitment and contracts.

  • Manage and maintain HR systems including Cascade, eArcu, and Zendesk to ensure accurate people data and insights.

  • Guide managers through end-to-end recruitment campaigns, advising on job adverts, interviews and ATS use.

  • Collaborate with the Talent Development Team on Learning Management System (LMS) support and apprenticeship tracking.

  • Attend or support interviews, learning sessions and people-related meetings as needed.

  • Produce regular reports to provide meaningful data insights and support policy improvements.

What you'll bring:

  • CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience).

  • Hands-on HR admin experience with strong system and data skills.

  • Confidence advising on UK employment law and people processes.

  • Experience delivering learning sessions and managing a helpdesk or similar advice function.

  • Eye for detail, strong written communication, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with warmth and professionalism.
