Every year, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem. But too many of us aren't getting the help we desperately need. Growing numbers are on the waiting list for mental health services, and the number of young people struggling with their mental health has nearly doubled.
Mind has an ambitious strategy to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve, with a particular focus on groups with some of the worst experiences.
Would you like to join us in the fight for mental health?
The digital content team at Mind looks after all of our online content – from social media, to blogs, to webpages. We want to make sure everyone can use the website and find the information and support they need. We work closely with digital analysts to see what's working, and what we need to improve to make sure our website is the best it can be.
We're looking for a digital content officer to work on our website content. We want someone who designs with the user in mind, and thinks about how people with mental health problems might experience our website.
Are you passionate about creating an internet everyone can use? We'd love to hear from you.
- Lead on digital content projects for other teams across the charity. You'll help them to improve their webpages, and make them memorable, engaging and relevant to our audiences.
- Support the development of our content strategy, helping make sure that all the content we create contributes to that strategy.
- Manage day-to-day website requests which come in via our request portal and CMS.
- Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and health of the Mind website, working closely with the digital development team to make sure the site is running without issues.
- Train other teams and our network of local Minds to improve their digital content skills.
Mind is committed to equality of opportunity for all staff, and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.
