Mind's Data Stewardship Team plays a vital role in supporting our fundraising efforts. We're responsible for managing supporter data from the moment it's received—processing contact details, handling donations, and ensuring data accuracy—through to maintaining and improving its quality over time. This work helps to deliver better experiences for our supporters, boost fundraising performance, and ultimately drive greater impact for people with mental health problems.

As the central hub for data stewardship within Mind's Public Fundraising Directorate, we work closely with teams across the organisation—as well as with external partners—to ensure our data processes are effective, innovative, and aligned with our mission.

The post holder will:
As our Data Steward, you'll be a key player in making sure our data is reliable, trustworthy, and fit for purpose. Your core duties and responsibilities will include:
- Mapping and documenting the end-to-end journey of our data—from source to report—to create a clear data lineage framework.
- Partnering with teams across Mind to define and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Collaborating with colleagues in Data Stewardship and the business data owners to identify and resolve data quality issues at the source.
- Working closely with data analysts and stakeholders to champion best practices that ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Supporting the Data Stewardship Senior Officers and Manager in implementing improvement processes to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Actively contributing to the improvement of team processes and championing a data-informed culture across Mind.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for data-related questions, providing clarity and confidence in our data assets.
- Managing and triaging incoming requests in the Data Inbox using our ticketing system, ensuring timely assignment, prioritisation, and resolution in line with our service standards.
